To all the staff
I just wanted to say how much we appreciate each & every one of you. When Richard & I viewed Glenfield for mom we immediately felt this was the home we wanted for mom. The care, love and wellbeing of all your Residents is obviously at the forefront of all that you do. I know at this most challenging and uncertain times you must all be under significant pressure in not only caring for your Residents but also your own and your family’s health.
I know that there is no other home I would want mom to be living in during these uncertain & scary times. Being with you I know you will be showing her the love and giving the care that we are unable to do at the moment

I am writing as I just wanted to express mine and my families feeling since Peter was placed at Glenfield Nursing Home after spending 3 months on various wards at the QE after having several falls at home and a decline in his mental health that was making it impossible for me to be his sole carer.
I can honestly say that from the first visit I was very impressed. We were made to feel welcome and at ease.
Since Peter has been under your care, we cannot believe how much he has improved. He is now more responsive, eating and drinking much better. He will now talk and interact with us, even singing and tapping away to music. He is looking healthier and is settled and happy
We would like to pass on our thanks to very member of staff who care for my husband and the other Residents with the respect and dignity they deserve. Each time we visit we notice how organised and well run Glenfield is. We know Peter is safe in you

Thank you so much for all the care that you gave M during her stay with you. She told us many times how nice everyone was and that she liked living at Glenfield
She retained her sense of humour until almost the end, which I think was due in part to the kind care she received.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to each and every member of staff caring for my mother G during her stay with you and for all the wonderful care, compassion and dignity you all showed and gave her. Your care made it easier for me to leave her at the end of the day as I knew she was in your very loving hands. Thank you all for the care and support you showed me to. I really appreciated it. You are all a wonderful team and I only hope you are all still around if ever I need a care home

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all from the depths of our hearts for the way that you took care of our mother PM
We feel very much that staff at Glenfield became part of our family. Thank you for how mum was able to leave this world in such peaceful and caring surroundings. Nothing can replace the void that is left in our hearts but we thank you for the memories that mums time at Glenfield was happy and that staff grew to love her and understand her so well
